Our collective efforts to advance biomedical science have significantly contributed to sustainable development and the enhancement of quality of life in our community. This purpose and determination reflect and uphold Prince of Songkla University’s motto:

Our research themes are primarily centered on cancer, infectious diseases, and bioinformatics—areas that represent major national causes of mortality. In addition, our scientific scope continues to expand to related diseases and fosters collaboration with other departments within the Faculty of Medicine, as well as with external institutions both in Thailand and abroad. Financial support is provided by the Faculty of Medicine Research Fund and external sources, such as the Thailand Research Fund and various international research agencies.
